Second Hand Paws is a dedicated group of volunteers serving the Glendive, Montana area and beyond. There is a huge need for this service in the area due to the large numbers of stray and abandoned animals. Our focus at the present time is on small breed dogs, cats, small animals, animals with special needs and joining them with people who can enrich the lives of the animals as well as their own.

       We strive to create a community where every loving animal has a home, where every lonely person has a companion animal that they can afford to adopt and care for. 

     We also want to work with other rescue groups in the area to lesson the number of stray and unwanted animals.
